Life Insurance Policy - Lone Star College

For the past four years LSC Police has paid for a $1million dollar line of duty death/major injury life insurance policy for all its police officers. The officers select who their beneficiary would be. It is a private policy covering our personnel beyond whatever personal life insurance they have or what any other entity would provide their family in case of such a tragedy.

We have been using the Hartford Insurance Company, but LSC Procurement wants us to take it our for bid for the next renewal. Would you send this note to our TACUPA constituency to see if they have such a policy and or if they know of any insurance companies that write these type policies.
