Congratulations Capt. Hughey - Texas State University

Good afternoon fellow TACUPA Members,

I am pleased to announce Roscoe Hughey has been selected as Police Captain for the Texas State University Police Department.

Captain Hughey has a wealth of law enforcement experience, having retired from the Texas Department of Public Safety with the rank of lieutenant and more recently serving the Texas State University Police Department as our training sergeant.

Captain Hughey is a veteran of the United States Army, and I am confident he will serve the needs of our campus community as the second in command here at Texas State University Police Department.

It is my sincerest hope that you will join us for lunch on December 7, 2022, at 12pm at the Paul and Pat Gowens Family Pavilion in Bobcat Stadium to congratulate Capt. Hughey.

We will be providing parking for those who can attend.
