UT Arlington Receives Statewide Emergency Management Award

Congratulations to the University of Texas at Arlington Emergency Management and Business Continuity Plan Coordinator, Cindy Mohat, who was honored to receive The 2018 President's Award from The Emergency Management Association of Texas on March 6, 2018.

Cindy received this award in recognition of her substantial efforts to carry forward the goals and objectives of EMAT.

On July 31, 2017, Cindy was an integral part and driving force of the leadership team that successfully planned and executed a large-scale active shooter exercise on the UT Arlington campus, coordinating with hundreds of volunteers and several agencies including Arlington Police and Arlington Fire Departments.
