Texas Association of College and University Police Administrators
Founded in 1964, the Texas Association of College and University Police Administrators (TACUPA) is dedicated to advancing the professional development of campus law enforcement throughout Texas. Our members represent a broad range of higher education institutions: public and private; four year and two year; large universities and small colleges.
TACUPA members promote professional law enforcement ideals and standards in regard to life safety and property protection in order to serve the educational objectives of Texas institutions of higher education.
Fulfilling the role foreseen by our Association's founders, TACUPA continues to evolve its mission of providing a medium for problem solving and the development of resources for those working in this ever-changing and innovative area of policing.
