Steve Miller

Steve Miller is in his 31st year of service to the Texas A&M Athletic Department in 2021-22. He was named Associate Athletic Director for Game Management in 2021 after serving as Assistant Athletic Director for Events and External Services since 2012.

Miller oversees all aspects of game management and he also coordinates the department's bidding process for NCAA Championships.

He has served as the tournament director for a variety of post season championships hosted by Texas A&M including the 2012, 2013, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 NCAA Women's Basketball First and Second Rounds; the 2007, 2008, 2011, 2012, 2015 and 2016 NCAA Baseball Regionals; the 2016 and 2017 NCAA Baseball Super Regional; along with the 2015 SEC Men’s Tennis Championships, 2012 Big 12 Tennis Championships, 2009 NCAA Tennis Championships, and the 2009 Women's College Cup.

Miller is the SEC Network Liaison, coordinates program scheduling for Texas A&M’s produced content on SEC Network, and also is a producer for basketball and volleyball games.
 
He supervised the school's nationally recognized football pre-game fan fest Aggie Fan Zone since its inception in 2004 until 2013.

Miller also collaborated on executive communications for the Director of Athletics from Oct. 2007 to May 2012.

Prior to joining the event management team in 2008, Miller spent 10 years as an assistant media relations director at A&M concentrating on football, women's basketball, and men's tennis. During that time, Miller earned four "Best in the Nation" honors by the College Sports Information Directors of America for media guide development.

A 1996 graduate of Texas A&M (Class of '95) with a bachelor's degree in health, with an emphasis in journalism, Miller has been a part of the Athletic Department since 1991. He served as a student athletic trainer for football for four seasons and men's tennis for two of those seasons (1993-95), before joining the Media Relations Office as a student assistant in the summer of 1995.

An award winning broadcaster, Miller is in his 26th season broadcasting road games of Texas A&M women's basketball on the Texas A&M Sports Network. He is the host of women’s basketball coach Gary Blair’s weekly in-season radio show. Miller also served as the sideline reporter for A&M football road games on the Network for three seasons, and has provided play-by-play on Aggie baseball, soccer, and volleyball broadcasts. He is also a frequent fill-in local radio host and emcee of community events. In 2016, Miller was named to the Bryan-College Station Convention and Visitors Bureau Board of Directors. In 2018, he was named Vice Chairman of the board.
 
Miller is a native of League City, Texas. He and his wife Charlee have three children, Elizabeth, Adelynn, and Samantha.
